Part 3 of the Legacy Lumber Ohsweken Project

Now for the Ohsweken Project Part 3: Moulder Tooling.

So we've just got a new (new to us) Moulder machine: the Profimat 26 Super! Which is what we're using at Legacy Lumber to achieve the Shou Sugi Ban siding for the ADC Sault Ste Marie building in Sault Ste Marie, Ontario (Shou Sugi Ban is the Japanese art of preserving and finishing wood using fire).

In this video I walk you through some of the functions of the Moulding machine and we take a look at some of the knives that just came in. It's pretty cool to have this kind of machinery at our shop, as it's not every day that you get to see one of these. More detailed video to come soon!!
